210gsm – 230gsm White Cardboard (Standard Premium): An ideal weight for high-end cosmetics, beautiful lingerie, light clothing and luxurious electronic products. This weight of cardboard gives a nice ‘snap’ and produces very smooth and strong structural fold lines.
250gsm – 300gsm White Cardboard (Heavy-Duty Elite): A very sturdy cardboard solution for high-end footwear box packaging, winter clothing and other large items like heavy glass bottles for fragrances and other premium spirits. It has excellent stiffness so will not bend or be crushed by lateral pressure.
350gsm & Above (Ultra-Rigid Architectural): This specification is ideal for bespoke fine jewelry collections, collector-edition tech products and multi-product PR influencer gift boxes. These bags are designed to feel as solid as a rigid setup box and are perfect for those requiring a high-end, ultra-durable mailer.
Advanced Anti-Cracking Creases & Structural Longevity
The thick fibers found within cardboard are dense. As such, they have the potential to split or snap when folded, should not be processed properly. Our team of engineers work to prevent this common fault.
Computer-Guided Temperature-Calibrated Scoring: We score raw cardboard sheets using computer controlled temperature-calibrated steel scoring matrices which in the scoring process micro-compress long pulp fibers in the fold channels. This allows the very dense board to fold perfectly straight without any Edge Splitting and there is No Color Leaking through dark and solid-bleed print.
Double-Board Structural Reinforcements : All of our carrier bags are constructed with heavy-duty 350gsm to 450gsm grey board inserts which are sewn into the top turn-in flaps and the base gusset of the bag. The inserts form a permanent framework which interlocks with other inserts to form a robust support skeleton within the bag. The framework is designed to withstand continuous vertical loads of up to 12kg without sagging or tearing.
High-Definition Lithography & Haute Couture Finishes
Ultra smooth white clay coating printed on strong white cardboard. Ideal for printing brilliant colors and complex post press finishes.
High-Fidelity Heidelberg Offset Printing: Our kraft paper printing goes around the natural texture of the raw material by printing with high-density inks using our multi-color Heidelberg offset printing presses. We control the color replication to a strict $\Delta E \le 1.5$ tolerance to guarantee color accuracy and replication of special colors like Pantone colors.
Anti-Scratch Tactile Matte Lamination : A very strong matte finish laminate to protect very dark prints, particularly deep black and rich maroon, as well as very delicate pastel colors. It is a finger print oil repellent laminate that will prevent corner scuffing and also prevent ink friction burns during long ocean shipping in containment.
3D Deep Blind Debossing & Multi-Tier Foil Stamping: Premium metallic colors of Gold, Chrome Silver and Holographic Laser foil are stamped deep into the card stock using custom-etched brass dies to create multiple levels of foil that pop beautifully in ambient boutique lighting.
Ergonomic Handle Integrations & Anchor Engineering
High-Density Grosgrain & Satin Ribbons: These very wide, very silky ribbon bands go through very precise punched slots. These ribbons are secured internally either with a strong hot-melt adhesive or tied up in a very pretty knot.
Soft Three-Ply Cotton & Nylon Twisted Ropes: These very comfortable and thickly woven cords are supplied with good quality plastic/metal T-ends (Barbs). They are inserted into the reinforced top flap of the bag, preventing pull-through snaps, even with very heavy loads.
Ergonomic Die-Cut Oval Hand Slots. Padded and reinforced hand slots cut out of the upper third of the cardboard box, forming a sleek, minimalistic outer shell for hi-tech products and luxury goods portfolios.
