High-Fidelity UV Offset Printing & Color Science

Printing on non-absorptive plastic substrates requires specific inks and corresponding processing equipment to prevent bleeding, peeling and color change.

State-of-the-Art UV Multi-Color Printing: We use German high-end Heidelberg UV presses with inline instant ultraviolet curing units. We print high-resolution vector typography, large photographic lifestyle images and intricate textures and designs directly on plastic foils.

Opaque White-Ink Under-Printing: To guarantee that deep branding colors and corporate logos are print with the same high color value even when dark or colorful products are printed inside, we apply a high-density solid white ink barrier base layer under the color matrix. This ensures excellent color fidelity with a deviation of $\Delta E \le 1.5$.

The subtle nuances of Mesmerizing Translucent Gradients & Frosting printing – Delicately printed translucent color washes are printed to smoothly graduate from solid color to crystal clear – producing the effect of frosted glass or neon color. The neon effect is particularly effective when viewed against the background of a retail environment with ambient spotlighting.

Proprietary Soft-Crease Engineering & Structural Safety

Brittle edges on low-grade colored plastic cartons develop cracks and splits and produce unsightly white lines along folded panels. We have an answer to this industrial failing.

Heated Radio-Frequency (RF) Matrix Scoring: Our soft-crease technology scores micro-channels into the plastic sheet to change the fold zone’s molecular structure. The heated panels scored with RF Matrix Scoring technology smoothly flex and lock into crisp 90 degree corners without Whitney loss of color or image.

Burr-Free Rounded Profiles: All outer edges, tuck-in tabs and interlocking locking bottom sections have been carefully processed using high-precision platen die-cutters. All border sections have been smoothed and rounded to touch ensuring safe use on packing lines as well as by end users.

Our Anti-Scratch Shield Foundations are manufactured from virgin-grade sheets pre-treated with anti-static and anti-scratch coatings. This allows the colored and printed surfaces to remain scratch free throughout high-vibration international maritime shipping.

Haute Couture Surface Treatments & Contrasting Textures

Your colorful plastic carton can be a real retail showpiece when you add a number of special tactile and light-reflecting effects on top of the print.

Drip-Off / Selective Matte & Gloss Finishes: Using a special coating, we create a sand-grain tactile matte finish on chosen design elements, in contrast to the brilliant high-gloss finish on product silhouettes or logos etc.

Precision Metallic Hot Foil Stamping: With the use of low-temperature specialty foils we fuse brilliant Gold, Chrome Silver, Brushed Rose Gold or multi-colored Laser Holographic metallic foil to the plastic substrate to guarantee immediate in-store impact.
