Geometric Mastery: Flawless Octagonal Structural Engineering

An eight-sided box requires rigorous mathematical precision during production to ensure that the top cover slips over the bottom base with smooth, air-cushioned friction without sticking or binding:

Symmetrical Telescoping Blueprint: Available in Full-Telescoping (where the lid completely covers the base) or Partial-Telescoping (where the lid sits on a custom internal gold or silver collar/neck) to create a beautiful horizontal line contrast.

Sharp 45-Degree V-Grooved Facets – Eight perimeter joints are produced by using computerized industrial v-grooving knives to cut the heavy board. All eight facets are cut at exact 45-degree angles to ensure that the joints will align without any bowing, no gap lines and the paper will not wrinkle or warp.

Load Integrity – Vertical / Warehouse Stacking: The multi-angled geometry of the system naturally distributes loads equally across all facets of the Octagonal structure to deliver an inherently more crush resistant solution than square or round based systems.

Multi-Sensory Textures & Premium Eco-Boards

The octagonal box has many seams & fold creases, thus we use basic substrates made to resist tearing of paper and bursting of corners of boxes.

High-Density Anti-Warp Greyboard Base: The panels are built using a 1200gsm to 2200gsm ultra-dense industrial greyboard matrix. The matrix provides a strong structural crispness and maintains geometric squareness across all eight panels.

FSC-Certified Luxury Art Wraps for your octagonal frames. These can be wrapped in premium Specialty Textured Papers, shimmering pearlized metallic liners, genuine core-dyed cardstocks or soft-touch velvet non-reflective wraps that repel fingerprint oils and cosmetic smudges.

Zero-Burst Fiber Selection for corner protectors: For our corner protectors we use papers with long-chain organic fibers. These fibers enable the paper to be folded mechanically around all eight sharp corners of a printed piece without exposing raw white paper pulp lines on the surface of the fold.

Your eight facets are transformed into visual perfection by our state of the art high-precision multi-color Heidelberg offset systems as well as our best post-press technology.

Drip-Off / Reverse Matte & Gloss Varnishing : Our cutting edge coating system produces a rough sandy textured matte finish to the background panels whilst retaining a high gloss mirror finish to your logo or gold filigree detail.

Precision Hot Foil Stamping: To finish off the eight facets of the box we use high precision temperature controlled brass stamping plates to infuse incredible shimmering highlights into the surface of the box. The range of foils available are; Bright Gold, Champagne Gold, Brushed Rose Gold, Metallic Silver and the most up to date finishes, including multi-colored Laser Holographic foils which have the ability to change and display a huge spectrum of colors as you rotate the box.

Deep 3D Sculptural Embossing. The top lid center panel is deeply embossed using steel dies CNC engraved to exacting detail to replicate brand crests, or more complex geometric designs such as these mandala patterns. The sharp relief created is raised beautifully from the surface of the panel to catch the light from the surrounding room.
