As an ISO-certified, direct-to-brand packaging manufacturer, we build this type of dual-flap packaging using thick, industrial-grade grey rigid boards. We then wrap each box in high-brightness art papers or textured dyed stocks. The result is perfect symmetry, ideal joining of the panels, and a crisp, solid ‘snap’ when the magnetic closures are engaged.

Geometric Symmetry & High-Precision CNC V-Grooving

A double-opening gatefold box relies entirely on perfect mathematical alignment. If the two front flaps are misaligned by even a fraction of a millimeter, the premium look is ruined. We eliminate this margin of error through advanced manufacturing:

CNC Digital V-Grooving (90° Sharp Edge Architecture): The internal chipboard is then passed through thick CNC routing matrices to cut extremely fine 90° “V” channels into the board core. As a result, the board is able to fold with absolute geometric sharpness. The result is a card with extremely sharp outer edges, with seams that are flush and fold together with parallel edges that meet precisely at the center of the resulting folded form.

Calibrated Multi-Weight Chipboard Cores – Our high-density cores are available in 1200gsm (2.0mm) 1500gsm (2.5mm) rigid greyboards as well as up to 1800gsm (3.0mm) for our dual door designs. These cores are designed to maintain the doors of your storage solution in a completely flat position and rigid, without the risk of warping or sagging over extended periods of storage.

Advanced Magnetic Closure Engineering

The sense of touch and sound of closing a luxury box in the hands of a consumer creates strong first impression for the perceived value of a product.

Dual-Axis Neodymium Permanent Magnets: We don’t use weak iron magnets. Instead, we use high-grade permanent Neodymium rare-earth magnets. These are placed into automatically drilled recesses in both the front flaps and the core walls before the face paper is laminated.

Acoustic “Snap” Calibration: The magnet depth and alignment are carefully calibrated so that both doors lock flush against each other with a distinct, satisfying premium “click,” ensuring the box stays securely closed during transit and handling.

Sophisticated Blue Color Profiles & Post-Press

Some of the darkest solid dark inks can be the toughest to print. These inks are prone to reveal scuff marks, and the oils from finger prints, as well as edge cracking. We protect your brand with our unique surface finishing matrix.

Deep Solid Ink Control: Our multi-color German Heidelberg offset press lines are used to control ink density for deep solid colors of dark navy, royal blue and indigo in order to avoid mottled background colors.

Our standard Anti-Scratch Tactile Matte Lamination is a high-tensile anti-scratch matte film liner sealed to the blue printed surface. This film repels oil, resists corner scuffing, and will not crack along folded creasing lines allowing the ink matrix to flex with the folds.
